Starshine News Astro Update  9 02 08 Today, Sept.2, Pluto begins its stationing in order to turn Direct on the 8th at 9:12 PM (MDT). So, from Sept.2-15th, Pluto’s influence will be the dominant energy and inviting us into a dance of intensity and transformation. Like it or not…the choice is yours…we are going to be dealing with a deeper awareness and transformative opportunity during this time. After the 8th,for the next seven months or so, we’ll have the opportunity to express the inner work we’ve been doing in the dark, since April when Pluto went Retrograde. Tomorrow, Wed. Sept.3rd, the Sun and Saturn are together and taking responsibility for something is a good idea. Thurs. Sept.4, the Sun trines Jupiter and we get a day of expansion, play, and a larger view of life. Sunday, Sept.7th, Jupiter goes Direct (Retrograde since early May) and things on ‘hold’ begin to move forward and expand more easily. All of this occurs under the umbrella of the Pluto station. So even though there are different hues one day from the next, the basic color is the same. Astro Update  8 14 08                 So we are navigating the path between the Eclipses, trying to hold steady as life does its thing around us (Olympics, War, Crime, Marriages, Births, etc.). On this path we may feel pushed, confused, moments of insight, moments of joy, and yet wonder where the hell we are going…and why. Even though, collectively, we are growing and maturing as a race of humanity, it’s a very individual walk we do when it comes to our own understanding of who we are and why we are here. On Friday, tomorrow, Aug.15, with the Sun opposing Neptune, we have some confusions, some wonderings, some questions about who we are now and what do we want. The Full Moon Eclipse on Sat., Aug.16 is a very dynamic and empowering Full Moon. Remember Eclipses take three to six months to a year to manifest themselves. This one has strength of purpose, visionary capacities, yet caution not to go overboard and be a bliss ninny before the work is done. Analyze, discern, look deeply. Keep your spiritual path moving forward balanced by the practical things of day to day life. In the wee hours of Aug.17th, Sunday, Mars squares Pluto and brings power plays and challenges. With Mercury trine Jupiter in the early evening, amends may be made and possibilities expanded. On Aug.19th, Tues., Mars enters Libra and there is a movement toward harmony and conflict resolution. Keeping the peace is important as is movement and decision making and not sitting on the fence. Eclipse Alert! Aug. 1, 2008 Heads up to people born in these specific time frames: Sept.’41-Jan.’42 July’42-Sept.’47 Jan.-July’48 For these people, this New Moon Solar Eclipse is going to sit very closely to their natal Pluto. It is a new cycle of empowerment. These are mostly pre- baby-boomer aged people. Some were coming of age during Eisenhower and the beat generation, were originators of the hippie movement, and some are just hitting retirement age now. This whole group will be sparked to stand up and look at where they need to take their power back and where their transformative work still calls to them, for themselves and everyone else. For people born in the specific dates below, it is even more powerful… Sept-Dec’43 Aug’44-Mar’45 May-Sept’45 Jan-July’46 These people will be hit exactly and feel called to do something perhaps extraordinary, especially in terms of their own lives and how they’ve lived up until now. Remember an Eclipse usually takes 3-6 months to manifest itself. So by Christmas ‘08, we may see some of the effects. Astro Update 5 25 08         Tomorrow, Memorial Day, May 26th, Mercury goes Retrograde at 9:48 A.M. (MDT) and Neptune goes Retrograde at 10:15 A.M. (MDT). At 11:10 A.M. (MDT) Venus squares Saturn. An excellent day for introspection…for some, along with the barbecue. Really looking at oneself and where you’re heading is the focus. Trust issues crop up to show you where there’s unfinished business between you and the Universe. Mercury will go Direct on June 19th. It’s now a time to be willing to look inside and communicate about the things that don’t get said. Astro Update 5 07 08 Jupiter is stationing this week, from May 7th-11th, going Retrograde on the 9th…It’s a rethinking of our philosophy of life and our goals over the next four months. Sunday, May 11, Mercury enters its shadow, beginning that internal process. Mercury in Gemini has us looking at our communications, how we ask for what we need, or not…and how we get our ideas across. Great time for pondering and writing. Astro Update  4 25 08 So I’m sure this static feeling of walking through molasses, of everyone dragging their collective feet, whether they’re your friends, clients or bosses, all seems pretty frustrating at this point and everyone is yelling ‘when is this going to change and move on’…Well the news is…not at this moment. The good news is…soon. This is Saturn stationing back at one degree Virgo (where it first passed over last early Sept.) So, it’s sitting at this degree from April 13-May 21. In the midst of this, Saturn will go Direct on May 2nd at 9:07 PM (MDT) and that’s a positive note, because we can expect movement after this date. We’re looking at a larger cycle here…So while Saturn is stalling, shall we say, it is giving us an opportunity to use this time to be with ourselves, to analyze our lives, our goals, and see what’s working and what’s dead weight! So while there may be more down time, we have time to sort through the refuse and get ready for moving along in a lighter way after that early May date. Astro Update  4 18 08 Sunday, April 20, is Passover and the Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon. This Taurus Full Moon was long held sacred as the time Buddha was enlightened. This Full Moon represents a cycle of empowerment…being able to land on your feet from choices made. Monday, the 21st, is a stabilizing day…a day to lay foundations…a day of productivity. Tues, the 22nd, Earth Day, is opening everyone to freedom of self- expression. You want to go your own way and champion everyone around you to do what makes them happy. Frustration on the 23rd. Have you ducks in a row. The 24th brings challenges with breakfast…deal with them and my mid- afternoon, things mellow out. Astro Astro Update  4 3 08 Tomorrow, April 4th, Mars catches up from where it Retrograded at back in Nov.’07. We move on into new territory…we’ve been round and round in a sort of circle, and tomorrow marks the end of that…we step into new opportunities. Sat. April 5th is the New Moon in Aries at 9:55 PM (MDT). This New Moon is about taking care of things that have been on hold for quite awhile. Stay out of your own way, so that you don’t start off on the wrong foot. It will go Retrograde on April 2 at 3:23 AM (MDT). What we can expect here is a deepening, an intensity, opportunities for transformation…situations that had been difficult may now prove to be workable, sometimes just because they get so difficult there’s no where to go but up…sometimes it’s just coming to the realization that there’s nothing to fight, and it behooves one to let go. As Pluto goes Retrograde it begins to work its magic on inner levels, so coming to some new realizations, or old realizations with the willingness to act on it this time, is part of the process and the gift. This inner work of Pluto will continue for the next4 ½ months until Sept.8… So for this next ten day period or so, with Pluto turning Retrograde, while it’s in its stationing position, we bear the intensity of its nature full force. Tomorrow, March 21 the Sun is square Pluto (2:36 AM, MDT) and then the Moon is square Pluto (11:52 AM (MDT) and then we have the Full Moon which includes both of these exact squares at 12:40 PM (MDT).  What all of this implies is this: we are being pushed to take our own power. We will have a good look at where we give ourselves away; where we allow other energies to take, manipulate, coerce, seduce us, and where we need to stand for our own principles. It’s not to say we become a closed circuit, only listening to our own ideas exclusively. We all need an alternative view. Yet the choices we make after all the info is in, must be our own. This whole past week we have been building to this aspect. It behooves us to pay attention. Astro Update 3 03 08 The Mars/Pluto opposition is building, coming to a head on Friday, Mar.7th at 2:05 AM (MST). The frustration and challenges have already been felt for a week or so. Erratic drivers, confrontations and near-misses are part of it. Try to maintain a sense of self-control while this week and that day, in particular, presents us with a deep and intense energy pattern. That same day, Mar.7th is also the New Moon in Pisces at 10:14 AM (MST) with the Sun, Moon and Uranus all within a degree of each other, and freedom of self-expression and the ability to move through things quickly are part of it. It can feel like psychic surgery when it comes to letting go of old patterns. Desire it and zap! It’s gone… Sudden sights and some erratic behavior on Sat. Mar.8th between 9-10 AM (MST). The Moon enters Aries and squares off Mars and Pluto, forming a T Cross…Innovation, positive impulse, risk-taking and finding ways to blow off steam, are the answer to the morning’s energies. Mar.9th, Sunday is the beginning to Daylight Savings Time at 2 AM, wherever you are. Astro Update 2 18 08 Today, Feb.18, Mercury goes Direct at 8 PM (MST) and we begin to fix all the misunderstandings of the past three weeks. For the next two weeks we also can bring into form that which we envisioned and dreamt about. Things move forward. The Lunar Full Moon Eclipse on Wed. Feb.20 at 8:30 PM (MST) brings strength to challenge old patterns. The equality of all beings is part of a learning curve now. Astro Update 2 6 08 Today is the New Moon Solar Eclipse at 8:44 PM (MST). Freedom of communication and a dynamic edge of bringing truth to daily life are all rolled into this eclipse. There is a great deal of personal power available in this New Moon, a lot of help, so to speak,, to make changes in one’s life that, at other times, would prove difficult. Taking care of one’s nurturing needs is the challenge here over this next moon cycle. And remember that Mercury is still Retrograde until the 18th, so we are still in an introspective mode until then. astro update 1 30 08         On Wed. Jan.30, Mars goes Direct at 3:33PM (MST). Mars has been Retrograde since Nov.14,’07. We are now re-emerging from an inward time, bringing our physical energies and our dreams and visions into the ordinary reality of our lives. With Mars in Gemini, we have the ability to see both sides of a situation, along with a desire to be more communicative and interactive with others. We have been in a mulling-over time frame. Now it is time to begin to bring those ideas into manifestation. Astro Update 1 27 08 Mercury goes retrograde at 1:31 PM tomorrow, Monday, Jan.28, in the sign of Aquarius. Our humanity is brought into the spotlight of our inner focus, as well as our communication skills and our individuality. Some may need a healthy dose of it as they look at herd mentality and where they have been going along with ways of thinking that really may not be true for them. Others may need to remember that they are part of a larger whole and that we’re all in this together. Mercury will go Direct on Feb.18th. Remember with Mercury Rx, it’s a time of going within…outer circumstances get squirrelly… missed appointments, phone calls and messages, misunderstandings, checks lost in the mail, etc. Breathe often. Astro Update 1 25 08 At 8:44 PM (MST) tonight, Jan.25th, Pluto enters Capricorn and brings with it an ending of a focus from the late nineties and a setting of its sights on the business world. You will note the scandal this past week in France where a young man lost $7 billion of the French banking system through fraud. Now it is being thought that that act provoked a severe fall in the Dow (Tao?) earlier in the week as well. For the next 15 yrs. (until Mar.2023) Pluto will roam the labyrinths of ‘business as usual’ and make marked changes in how we see business and its rules. Goals and how we get there may eventually shift to a cooperative venture instead of standing on the neck of those in our way. A corporate nation may push through to a true democracy, of which we haven’t really ever seen. I’m not implying that Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn will usher in a Golden Age. But it will break down (to re-build) the way business divides us and feeds into class systems and ‘us and them’ mentalities. In order for new forms of business to emerge, the old must break apart and fall to ruin. What is built on its ashes over the next decade+ will show us how ready we are for true global economies (not the global bank, etc. They are part of the old ‘power over’ models that are preparing for their descent). So Pluto will be in Capricorn for the next several months, til June 14th, to give us a taste of what is to come in the larger 15 yr. cycle, then Retrograde back into Sag for any unfinished business until Nov.26 ’08 when it returns to Capricorn and stays there. This is a good time to re-define goals while looking at the basic foundation of our lives. Are our values serving us or do they need to be re-worked. Are we stepping up and taking responsibility for the areas of our lives that really belong to us. Can we hold a vision of possibility that is about global healing and the collective of humanity moving forward. Where can we stand in our integrity. Astro Update  1 12 08 On Sunday, Jan.13, Mercury enters its shadow of the next Retrograde cycle. (Mercury will go Retrograde, Rx, on Jan.28th). But for this Sunday and the events of the day, we will return to these things to re-think and re-do them on the 16-22 Feb. when Mercury returns to this degree and goes Direct. So to those of you that are sensitive to Mercury’s cycle you will begin to feel the Rx coming. As to everyone…be mindful of tasks yet to do, see where cosmic and abstract thinking take you, and make sure you are willing to see clearly the events around you. On Jan.19th, Venus and Mars are opposing and the challenge is to bring a vision forward. In the frustration that may come with the day, bring something creative out of it if you can. Jupiter and Saturn are exactly trine on the 21st and bring a day of flow. Finances may be included in that flow as well as opportunities. The Full Moon on the 22nd brings insights into one’s shifting values. On the 23rd, Venus and Pluto are dancing together and power plays may lead to the ultimate reality of this aspect which is to make sure one is not giving one’s power away. The right use of power is to embrace it and help everyone around you have the opportunity to step into their own. Astro Update  12 19 07 On Tues. Dec.18th Jupiter entered Capricorn (for the next 13 months) and today, Wed. Dec.19 Saturn, Capricorn’s ruling planet, goes Retrograde (until early May ’08). Jupiter’s energy is now more focused. Goals, dreams, manifestations over the next year will push one to know more clearly what one wants. Capricorns will delight in life, feel as if life is somehow easier and they don’t have to be quite so serious about it all…Saturn takes us inside to work on things… Also today Mercury is conjunct Pluto…an ability to look into the heart of things and know what you need to know. Tomorrow, Dec.20, Mercury enters Capricorn and the Sun conjuncts Pluto. Lists and plans, checking them off, organizing and calling one’s power…stepping into it. A day of intensity and transformation. Friday Dec.21st is the Winter Solstice/Sun enters Capricorn at 11:08 PM (MST). Sharing feelings important in this next quarter and a willingness to challenge oneself. Dec.11, Jupiter conjuncts Pluto in Sagittarius, at 12:26 PM, MST. This aspect, to all intents and purposes, represents an expansiveness, an empowerment. As it sits extremely close to the Galactic Center degree, it also suggests an opening of a door temporarily, releasing inner wisdom for all who choose to look. However…in light of Mars’ Retrograde condition right now and the events in the country/world the past week or so, I would caution against too much exuberance and more sobriety. Expanding Plutonian energies, keeping in mind that Pluto represents the phoenix bird emerging from the flames and is symbolic of the Lord of the Underworld bringing transformation, one may do well to be sober in one’s dance right now. This way one can see what the nature of the dance is and not get caught up in what one thinks it might be. Now is the time for the artists/writers/composers to continue to manifest their visions, bringing their work forward. On a larger scale, water issues continue to be in the world’s eye, whether it is drought, flooding, lack of potable water, etc. Today is a day to expect the unexpected. On Friday, Nov.30th, the Sun squares Saturn and we look at our self- imposed limitations with a catalyzing energy to push past them. Astro Update  11 14 07 The Mars Cycle On Sept.17th we entered the shadow of Mars’ Retrograde cycle. Tomorrow, Thurs. Nov.15th at 12:24 AM (MST) Mars goes Retrograde until Jan.29th. Mars will catch up to where it Rx at on April 4th… Interpretation: Mars is our physical drive, our energy, how we manifest our dream on the physical plane. Mars rules birth, guns, knives, cars, fevers and all things red, impulsive and forward moving. Mars is in Cancer right now for this Rx…although it will go back into Gemini for part of this cycle. Cancer is water, home, moodiness, family, food, protectiveness and all things soft, blue/green, and comforting. Putting Mars and Cancer together makes for frustration, displays of heated emotion and yet a catalyst to heal past issues and present emotional fears. As Mars goes back into Gemini for part of the time (New Year’s Eve until Mar.4th) we move into an airy, communicative, changeable Gemini energy and may tend to some of the details that were neglected back in early Sept. More heated discussions may ensue. So Mars Retrograde will take us inside to work on our lives from an internal peering-out-into-the-external-world point of view. Our natural physical drive may be lessened as we work inside.  We are working internally. After Jan.29th, we will move forward again, emerging from the internal to the outer plane to set in motion what we now know we need to change. Astro Update 10 31 07           Today Neptune goes Direct at 2 PM (MDT) (Retrograde since May 24th) and we have time now for things moving ahead, especially in expressing our spiritual pursuits and being more clear about our own beliefs. On the mundane level, Neptune is not the business maven, so expect things to be nebulous or unclear today, where finances and business agreements are concerned. Tomorrow Mercury goes Direct at 5PM (MDT) and we begin to redo the past three weeks. Straightening out misunderstandings and confusions from that time frame. We are still looking at relationship dynamics for the next week and after the 16th, we are in new territory again. Sunday, Nov. 4th the Sun trines Mars at 4:19 AM (MST) and there's a great deal of dynamic energy to spur anyone to action. Monday the 5th at 11 PM (MST) Venus squares Pluto and brings us questions of power plays and challenges and where we need to let go a bit. Wed. the 7th has the Sun trines Uranus and there's a lot of magnanimous energy, some live and let live type feeling, and also wanting to help those who need it. Astro Update 10 11 07 Today, Venus catches up to where it began its Retrograde back on July 27th. So today we are revisiting that July day and all that's transpired between then and now, and are ready to move on... Today is also a Mercury stationing day...Mercury is going Retrograde tonight at 10 PM (MDT) in Scorpio. So in-depth insights over the next few weeks. Looking again at communication in relationships and what's not working or being said, and what is working. (Mercury will go Direct on Nov.1st). The New Moon last night (Oct.10th, 11:01 PM (MDT) is a new cycle of ease in manifesting one's spiritual beliefs. It brings a sense of diplomacy, even-handedness, and opportunities for justice, and at the very least, getting one out of one's chair to speak against injustice. I've been away for two weeks. That's why the lapse in updates. Happy Fall! Jyoti Astro Update 9 09 07         On Tues. Sept.11 at 6:44 AM (MDT), we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse, visible in the southern hemisphere. This eclipse offers us an opportunity to heal this nation’s wounds from this date six years ago. On its own merit, this eclipse is a new cycle of challenge, looking at one’s sense of individuality vs. power struggles.  It is inviting one into a maturing of spiritual beliefs, wading through the old ones, and letting the less mature ones go. This is also a day to expect the unexpected, taking us into the next several months with challenges that come out of nowhere, but have  a valid learning experience for us…can we be flexible and roll with the changes that come to us in the everyday. For those who avoid change or dig their heels against it, this can be an uncomfortable time. Breathe. Astro Update 8 26 07 Saturn is winding down it’s 2+ yr. trip in Leo, getting ready to enter Virgo (Sept.2), and bringing to a close the restrained, responsibility-driven Leos to step up and take charge of their lives more consciously…On Sept,2nd, it becomes Virgos’ turn to do that same thing over the following 2+ yrs. As of right now, we are building toward a Full Moon Eclipse on Tues, the 28th at 4:35 AM (MDT). This is the polarity of trust vs. discernment…where do we go with the flow and where do we need to practice discernment, discrimination in a positive way…where do we trust innately and where do we feel the need to take things apart and analyze them to death… Also on Sept. 2nd, along with Saturn entering Virgo, Pluto is beginning its stationing action, in preparation for going Direct on the 7th…so from Sept.2 until Sept.12th, we will be dancing with Plutonian energies of transformation and renewal…the Lord of the Underworld (Pluto) invites us in for tea and visions of possibilities, and shows us what is now up to us to manifest in its renewed form, from the previous five months of internal work. As you can attest, this has not been an easy summer…with Venus Retrograde in Virgo, and then going back into Leo (and going Direct on Sept. 8th), we have been dealing with health and financial issues a great deal…and it’s not over yet. So taking things as they come along, bite-sizing it all, and not allowing oneself to get overwhelmed, is the order of each day it seems. Trust in the natural order of things helps as well…when we can/where we can… Blessings… Astro Update  8 12 07 The New Moon in Leo today (5:02 PM, MDT) is a new cycle of creative expression, and asks also…who am I now…what do I want for myself at this point of my life…so it takes us on a search for identity in where one finds oneself today, this moment, this month… This question extends into this next month until the New Moon in Sept.(which is a New Moon Eclipse)… Wed. the 15th gives great insights, many opportunities to see oneself. Thur. the 16th is a very ascetic day for music, art, writing… Friday the 17th Mercury trines Pluto and insights are available in whatever direction we turn our focus. On Sunday, the 19th, the Sun trines Pluto and it’s a very empowering day…one lands on one’s feet…a day to make things happen that at other times, might feel difficult… Astro Update  7 20 07 So does it feel ‘ponderous’ to anyone else out there…? I hear from a few people that this past week has been feeling a bit much…I can attest to the same experience. Not everyone is being hit by the aspects in the heavens, but enough people to make it seem like a lot… We’re in a Venus slowing down phase as it will go Retrograde in early Virgo next week, July 27th. I’ll come back to this… So right now, Mars is approaching a square to Neptune, July 24 (5:11 PM, MDT). This aspect can make the physical energy feel depleted as the focus is more on the inner realms than it is on the physical…it’s asking men to reassess who they are and how they show up in their world. What still works of what they do. For the rest of us, it’s pushing the manifesting button…what do we want out lives to look like…what are the illusions that we need to see through… So we’re building to this over the next week. While this is going on, the Sun enters Leo (July 22, 11:00 PM, MDT), and we celebrate the fun time/dog days of summer…things might feel lighter and hotter for the following 30 days. However, with Venus on the agenda to go Retrograde on the 27th (11:27 AM, MDT), we are looking at finances, health, responsibilities and especially with Venus, our values and priorities and how have we gone away from what we hold dear. Venus’ cycle looks like this: Entered the shadow: June 22nd Turns Rx: July 27th Turns Direct:  Sept.8th Catches up and moves on: Oct.10th. During this time, we re-examine also, our relationships. What still nourishes and feeds us. What changes are on the table. So, starting with this ‘ponderous’ feeling, I’m hoping Venus gets a little lighter as we go deeper inside for this self-examination. No guarantees however. Astro Update  7 08 09         Tomorrow, Monday, July 9th, Mercury goes Direct at 8:16 PM (MDT). We have been working internally for the past three weeks, especially around family, with Mercury’s Rx in Cancer…so tomorrow, with the Direct motion, we turn outwardly again. We begin the process of re-doing the events of the precious three weeks, making amends where needed, correcting mistakes or misunderstandings, etc. By July 24th, we move on into a new time, and more communicative. On Tuesday, July 10th, the Sun trines Uranus at 10:34 PM (MDT) and we have a time of enjoying our freedom of self-expression. It’s a very humanitarian timeframe. We are wanting the freedom to be ourselves and are magnanimous in our granting that to others as well. Astro Update 9.11 New Moon Eclipse….Sept.11, 2007….8:44 A.M. (EDT) This Sept.11, 2007, we have a New Moon Eclipse. This is a new cycle of opportunity for healing the wounds of our psyche as a nation. This is the doorway that we can pass through and enter a new time, where that charged vision of the 9.11 events does not inform our choices completely. We will carry the loss of those who left so unexpectedly that day; we may remember those who gave all they had to help; we may still wonder exactly who was responsible and who may have left the hen house door unlocked. Yet with this New Moon, a new cycle of healing is at our fingertips. We have a golden opportunity to move on, to really heal, and be about our business as a people, as a nation. Let us use this New Moon to step into a new time, a new way to be in the world. Please share this information with anyone. The more people who are aware of this opportunity, the more consciousness can be applied to bring the energy forward. Jyoti Wind Astro Update 6 15 07 Today, June 15th, at 5:40 PM (MDT) Mercury goes Retrograde (Rx) until July 9th. It’s been a week of building energies and letting go. So today we begin the three week trek inward. With Mercury in Cancer, this may feel like a particularly frustrating Mercury cycle. No everyone will be affected. Angst over communications, or lack thereof, is common. Feelings will run high. Have an outlet for them aside from relationships and friendships. On Monday, June 18th, the Sun is opposing Pluto: challenges, power plays and power trips. Embrace your power, own it, and make room for the other person’s truth. On Tues. June 19th, Venus trines Jupiter, a day of expansiveness. There’s a caution here against extravagance. Just don’t go overboard. The Summer Solstice on the 21st (12:07 PM MDT) begins the summer quarter of the year and is a very dynamic day. There is a lot of strength, vigor and transformative opportunity here as we begin this cycle. With your strength and bravery, evoke the must and see what she has for your creative flair. Astro Update 6 04 07                 We have already stepped into the shadow of Mercury’s next Retrograde cycle (May 30), where we can begin to see the start of cancelled or changed appointments, things being forgotten and missed, subtle misunderstandings. Mercury’s cycle this time is in Cancer, psychic, intuitive Cancer…a sign that would rather feel than speak, sees harshness where it may be or may not be meant that way. Be prepared for things in the outer world to go awry after June 15 as Mercury goes Retrograde and it’s time for introspection and self-reflection. On July 9th, Mercury goes Direct and we begin to correct the misunderstandings. By July 23, Mercury catches up, and things are set to right. We move into new territory. Advice may prove worth listening to. On the 17th, Chiron begins a stationing aspect (until the 31st), and is joined by Neptune stationing on Friday the 18th (until the 25th). All this means that between the 18th and 25th of May the potential for deep spiritual healing, insights, and understandings is magnified by many-fold. Blessings, grace and growth are available in and around everyday life. Use the opportunities that present themselves!!!! On Sunday the 20th Mercury squares Uranus (5:25 PM  MDT) and conversations can be quirky, although unexpected insights and hunches may accompany these talks. Enjoy the week. May 9…Sun squares Saturn…There’s a push energy here and no one wants to be told how to manage it, so I won’t. Just breathe and avoid power struggles. Resistance is high. Thurs. May 10…Jupiter is square Uranus…Been building for awhile now…unexpected situations to see oneself. Unexpected revelations, personally and globally. Sat.  May 12…Sun squares Neptune…Who are you now? May 13, Mother’s Day…Mars square Pluto…An intense push, a firecracker ready to go off, violence and intensity vie for attention…pay attention to what pushes you from the inside and the outside. Keep breathing… Astro Update  4 25 07 A lot of grace this week…a loose-knit Star of David in the heavens involving planets and asteroids in a Grand Trine in Air and a Grand Trine in Fire, to form a six sided star, a sign of blessing. In a natal or marriage chart, this would bring blessings from the person and/or the relationship, blessings that would benefit others. This aspect this week gives an ease and flow and expansion. Saturday, April 28 we have a Mars/Uranus conjunction at 10:38 PM (MDT) and humanitarian ideals are high. The other side of this aspect cautions us about an awareness of our energy use. Are we focused, are we paying attention? Are we thinking of other things as we stand up too quickly and bump our heads on an open cabinet door. Be mindful of erratic energy or feeling physically driven. Pay attention where you’re placing your feet. The Full Moon on May 2nd with Mercury close to the Sun…gives insights as it challenges you. So for these days we are dancing in Saturn’s game: structure, perseverance, goals. Time to ground and lay foundations. In the midst of this, Saturn turns Direct on Thurs. the 19th, and we get to move forward with the goals we had been entertaining since Dec.5th (06). Some things have been on hold awhile, gathering energy, honing focus. After Thurs. it will be time to set those things in motion. Thurs. the 19th also is a day of Sun trine Pluto…a day of strength and empowerment. Friday the 20th, we move into Taurus, a time to appreciate the beauty of the Earth, leading up to Earth Day on Sunday the 22nd. Astro Update  4 08 07 A Happy White Easter from Boulder, CO. So the last week and a half, since March 27th until tomorrow, April 9th, Pluto has been stationing at the same degree and minute while it Retrograded on March 31st. Since then we’ve had a Full Moon (April 2nd) and Jupiter turning Rx on April 5th…and you are probably wondering why your past 2 weeks or so have been filled with angst, frustration and a demand almost to let go of stuff that you’ve been carrying around for all your years. And ‘this stuff’ is anything from thoughts, belief systems and feelings that really don’t work and can’t go with you into your own evolution. So I’m not saying that dropping all this stuff is ‘finished, right and done’ now and you are enlightened. I’m saying that you have been having opportunities to let go of another layer of something that you are well aware of in your internal life that isn’t working, and isn’t worth the effort to carry any further. It’ s been a tough week or so. No doubt about it… I think it will lighten up after tomorrow, the 9th…when Pluto has begun to move on a bit, move inward a bit, so that we are working internally with what we’ve been shown isn’t working. So it’s an internal transformative opportunity from now until Sept.7th when Pluto goes Direct again and we get to live out on this plane what we’ve just been working on in the inside realms of ourselves. So, take heart. Today, on Easter Sunday, the Sun trines Saturn and we get to have an easier day. A good day to get work done, or set goals or accomplish something. Our fortitude is strong, our perseverance is high, and we feel more grounded and stable than we have on the emotional roller coaster it’s been for the past several weeks. On Tues. April 10th, with Mars square Pluto in the wee hours of the morning, it sets a day for insights and looking deeper and seeing what we need to see. The week ahead looks fairly mild on a general basis. There’s always the personal aspect that surprises one, but generally speaking, it’s an easier week, barring anything like sunspot activity, rampant comets, or sudden movements of things uncharted and unseen. Other than that, the astrological forecast looks good.
